Materials

Most materials are low-cost and reusable. Plan for 20–30 participants unless noted.

Core materials

• Index cards or printed cards (multiple colors)
• Sticky notes and markers
• Painter’s tape or floor dots
• Yarn, string, or ribbon for links
• Small bins or cups for stacks/queues
• Timer or projected clock

Optional enhancements

• Large grid mat for array/graph layouts
• Laminated cards and dry-erase markers
• Clipboards for small-group notes

• Activity cards
• Structure cards (stack/queue/list/tree/graph)
